Scott R. Welvaert

He’s a rehabilitating poet, a marketer, and a writer of middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction. A poem of his was published as a centerfold in the Alabama review, and he has penned numerous books as a mercenary author, including The Curse of the Wendigo, The Mosquito King, The Alabaster Ring, Grotesque, The 13th Floor and others. While he’s an avid outdoorsman, chronic movie buff, nerdy sci-fi and fantasy reader, and a joyful comic book nerd, his real jam is writing stories that bend the fabric of reality, turn tropes on their heads, and hopefully offer something different than this world can offer. He lives in Chaska, Minnesota with his lovely wife, and misses his two daughters who live abroad. But he has a deaf husky named Rocket at home, who is quite the handful.
