As long as I can remember I’ve loved stories. Hearing, watching, or reading someone’s great story — fiction or true — is like stepping into another world. Believe it or not, I didn’t like reading when I was a kid. So, if you had told me then that I would someday write books, graphic novels, comic books, and even films, I would never have believed you. Reading is still a bit difficult for me, but there are so many great stories contained in books that it’s worth the extra effort. I believe that diving deeply into stories my whole life made me want to tell stories that drew me and others into different worlds. I believe that stories reflect our inner life and our growth as human beings. Maybe I’ll never go into a cave looking for supernatural treasure, or find out that I’m an heir to a 3,000-year-old conspiracy, but I know I will always learn and change based on my experiences — just like the characters in my stories grow through the extremes in their lives. I hope my readers find the strength and courage to live and grow by reading my stories — just as I learn to live and grow by writing them. Happy reading!

HIS BOOKS

14-year-old Jack struggles after his mother’s death. After his father moves them to a remote, ancestral farm near a ghost town, it only gets worse – a haunting howl from the nearby woods terrifies Jack at night. When he searches, he finds an unnatural hole where a nest of snakes writhe together to take on frightening forms.

Only after he meets May and June Deville, two motocross sisters, does the mystery begin to unravel. While the sisters don’t speak, they communicate through an otherworldly means. He learns a time bubble has trapped the whole Deville family. They need his help to escape. They need someone to go into the hole.

Jack wants to help, but he’s also fearful. When the girls push him into the hole, Jack must fight his way through the snake monsters and overcome his own fear to save himself and the Devilles.
